Remove the front bumper to remove the radiator
How do you replace a radiator on a 1991 Honda Accord
Simply remove transmission oil pan and it's right there all you have to do is remove and replace.
To replace the thermostat on a 91 Cavalier you need to drain the radiator. Remove the top radiator hose and water inlet. Remove the thermostat from under the inlet. Install the new thermostat and reinstall the inlet and hose. Fill the radiator with fresh antifreeze.
You will need to take the fuel tank off the 1991 Toyota Celica GT and remove the fuel pump and replace it. Always make sure to drain the gas before you take the tank off the car.

Its a pain. Basically, with car cold, drain system. Remove battery. Remove shroud. Unbolt fans and let them hang lose. Remove hoses. Pull out old radiator. Put new radiator in. Reconnect hoses.(you may have trouble if there's a converter piece on an inlet) Rebolt fans. Replace shroud. Connect overflow bottle. Replace battery. Refill coolant and top off leaked fluids.
Probably on the engine end of the upper radiator hose
Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the top of the engine. There will be 2 bolts once you have drained the radiator you can remove these bolts that hold the waterneck housing down lift it up, and there will be the thermostat. I am in the process of replacing all the drivebelts on my 1991 Toyota 4x4 pickup 3.0 liter with AC & PS. In order to remove the belts, I had to first remove the radiator hose which effectively blocks easy removal of the fan and fan shroud. Then I had to remove the fan and fan shroud. Fortunately, the power steering belt is the first (front of vehicle) in the series of three drivebelts (power steering, AC, & water pump/alternator), so you won't have to remove any of the others to get to it. I didn't have to remove the belt, since it did the job for me (which is why I am doing this in the first place). But I did clean up the gunk on the pulleys a bit. So now, I just have to put the new belt on, and replace the fan, fan shroud, and radiator hose. We'll see how that goes. -mudmaid
