Most cars have an inside cover over the bolts that hold the mirror on. I would expect a 97 Accent to be the same. Most just pop on, some have a screw in one corner.
It varys from each car but I think you have to take off the door panel. Next you locate the bolts and remove from there.
The horn on a 1997 Hyundai accent is located behind the front bumper. It is placed on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the right headlight.
On the bottom of the door mount is a screw. Remove it, and push the case up. There's four 5/16 bolts. If it's power mirrors, there's a wiring harness inside the door you'll have to disconnect.
If you want to remove the clear downward ground light on the mirrors. You have to pry out the clear lens.

To remove the mirrors from you Nissan Sentra first remove the inside door panel. Pry the plastic mirror cover off of the mirror. Once this is done remove all of the nuts, bolts, or clips holding the mirror to the door.
Remove the inside door panel. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the mirror retaining bolts. The side rear view mirror will come off.

if they are electric mirrors the front glass pannel will just pop off and then the screws can be reached

the mirrors have plastic shields on the stalks, pry them lightly with a flat head screw driver, youll see 2 Phillips head bolts, remove them then the mirrors are free.
