The previous answer says there are two release levers at floor level on the back seat - just pull them out and the seat will lift out. IT WON'T.
To remove the back seat:
1. Drop the two backs forward.
2. On the back bottom corners of each back there is a black bolt screwed into
pivot braces. Use a socket wrench to unscrew each of these four screws.
3. The backs will now lift out. (Be sure to screw the bolts into the backs so you
don't lose them.)
4. Now that the backs are off, remove the trunk floor covering the spare tire.
Now you will be able to see two bolts, one at either end of the seat bottom.
Unscrew these bolts to release the tab braces that hold the back of the seat
bottom in place.
5. Now, PUSH - don't pull - the release levers at the front of the rear seat base
(These are sort of a spring tab pushed into slots in the floor) and you can
then lift the seat bottom out.
To put everything back in place, be sure to realign these release tabs, since they tend to shift when removed.
Hope this helps.

The fuel filter on a 2005 Hyundai Accent depending on where it was manufactured and when, is possibly external and on the outside of the fuel tank directly above the fuel pump and accessible by removing the back seat. After removing the trim, unscrew the mounting screws securing the stereo, then carefully slide the unit out. Finally, disconnect the wiring harness and antenna from the back of the stereo to fully remove it.
