on the passenger side of the car, under the glove box, you should find a trim panel to the right. there is a small plastic nut holding the panel to the firewall. remove this panel and you will find the vehicles computer. where the plastic nut for the panel was, there is a 10 mm nut holding the computer to the firewall and 2 other screws holding the computer to the fender area.
after removing these, you can move the computer out, without unplugging it from the vehicle. now you should be able to see where the blower is. there will be 2 yellow wires with plugs attached to the the blowers housing. unscrew these screws and move the wires out of the way. there will be another plug going up toward the firewall from under the glove box. do not unplug it. i did and now my airbag light keeps flashing (still working on how to fix that one). you will find a small plug in the side of the blower houseing. unplug it and move out of the way.
once this is done you should be able to see 4 screws around the blower housing. use a Phillips head screwdriver and remove them. the blower moter, and fan should fall onto the floor (so watch your head).
i thought my blower was bad, but found that there was a piece of foam inside the blower housing that had been caught in my fan. i removed this foam, put some fan oil in all the spots i could in the motor and now my blower works better than ever.
hope it works for you
