What a pain in the you not what as you have to remove the back shelf. The speaker caps are mounted from underneath and are NOT attached to the speaker itself. # Remove the back window break light. Remove the plastic caps on each side. Then remove the two screws and the light will lift up and out. Undo the wire harness and remove the two screws holding the bracket in place. # I didn't remove the back seat (upper part) but I think in hind sight it would have been easier. To do this remove the two bolts the you will see by press back the botton seat where the two meet. The backrest should then lift up and out. # Remove the upper plastic pieces the the seat belt slides into. They just snap in, so just start at the top and pull gently and they will come out. # The back shelf is held by plastic snap ins. You will see them, I think there is 5 or six that you just take the lip of the back shelf and pull out. With out taking the seat out, I was able to take some needle nose pliers and from inside the trunk squeeze them and push into the car while my son pull them out before they fell down behind the seat. # Now just pop up the shelf to remove the plastic snap ins that hold it in place. # Now you will see the speakers and just remove the four screws. # You may have to change the wire connection as the original harness is not adaptable to other model speakers.
