Best to remove transmission from the bottom with sub-frame off. Car needs to be jacked or put on stands.
Transmission is very heavy, suggest getting transmission jack to help lower and install.
Be in for about 6-8 hours to remove (if you are skilled) and 5-6 hours to install.
