There is no repairing the door handle it if it breaks ... it must be replaced. I just had to do it. The part is a little over $100 from Mitsu and it only comes in black. I pulled one off a junked car for $10 and had a body shop paint and install it for another $60. Haynes book explains installation/removal procudure. This guy is right, you can't fix it, and you do have to replace the handle. The first time I mine broke I did get it at the dealer for just a little over $100, and then the passenger side broke. I found this place that you can order it online, it's a lot cheaper than going to the dealer to get it. It runs about $20 new or you can get both sides for $35.. It's a better deal than going to the dealer or going to the junk yard and taking a chance that the one you get there will break in a year or so. You can find a lot of other parts needed for your eclipse at this website too at a very reasonable price. check it out http://www.directauto.com/category-exec/category_id/3/search_model/Eclipse/
