I have the same problem on my car. It would appear to be an LED and from enquiries i have made the dash board would have to be removed a big job?
The remainder of the dash board lights are fine, I wondered if the fault could be a faulty wire somewhere and how i could check it out. The LED light on the outside rear hatch are working but i note Nissan say leds cannot be replaced. Presumably you have to buy a new Unit.
