The shop manual shows it under the air box and charcoal canister which have to be removed prior to changing the gas filter. Loosen the union bolt on top of the gas filter. Next you have to go under the car to remove the inlet line which a extension bar from the ratchet wrench is needed and then a crow foot wrench about four inches to remove the bolt. Finally, it is two bolts to remove the gas filter.
