Disconnect the battery, then access the fuel pump by removing the rear seat and the fuel pump access panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors and fuel lines from the pump, remove the old pump, and install the new one in reverse order, ensuring all connections are secure before reassembling. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the system for leaks.

Usually the fuel pump relay (under the steering wheel area usually) gets too much corrosion, so you have to either replace it, or figure out how to take it apart and clean in between the contacts with sand paper. Also, check the wires on the fuel pump itself, check to see if your fuses are all clean, replace your fuel filter. Above all, never let your car go below 1/4 tank.
