To replace a lost Locktronics key for a Toyota Previa, you typically need to visit a Toyota dealership or a qualified locksmith with the ability to cut and program keys. You’ll need to provide proof of ownership, such as your vehicle registration and identification. The dealership or locksmith can then create a new key, which may involve programming it to match your vehicle's immobilizer system. Alternatively, you can also check if the key code is available in your vehicle's documentation for easier replacement.

According to my owner's manual you must contact a BMW dealer to replace the key.
you can go to the dealer and give them the VIN # and they will order you a precut key from the manufacture.
You will more than likely have to get a new ignition and key for it.
This must be done at the dealership. I did not have a spare and lost my only key. Key had to be special ordered. The car towed to the dealership and programmed. $400.00 for new key and keyless remote.
That is the dealers responsibility. It should be included with the purchase of the new key.
