Remove the trim panel over the inside of the tail light. Unplug the connector and remove the three 10mm nuts affixing it to the body of the car. Pull outwards from the rear of the vehicle and reverse order obviously for installation. The top nut is tricky to get, you may want to slightly loosen it with a wrench because of clearance, and spin it off the rest of the way by hand.
