To replace the air cabin filter on a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara, start by locating the filter access panel, which is typically found behind the glove compartment. Remove the glove compartment by detaching the stops and gently lowering it. Once exposed, pull out the old cabin filter and insert the new one, ensuring it is oriented correctly. Reassemble the glove compartment and secure it back in place.

Open the glove box. On the right hand side of the glove box there's a little hinge, remove that first, then remove the glove box by pushing in on both sides and pulling down gently. Up inside the glove box hole there is a white plastic piece with 2 clips on each side, pull those out and remove the plastic guard.
