Haynes Repair Manual. I had to replace front passenger side wheel bearing. The manual will walk you through it. I did have to get a pulley puller in order to get the brake disc off. Pretty straight forward though.
Front wheel bearings are a sealed unit. so the answer is no. run them till you wear em out.
to tell u the truth you are better off buying a new boot from a junk yard to put on then messing with the bearings
sorry to have to tell you this but the bearings are part of the wheel hub and sealed within. you need to change the entire hub. $$$$$$$
To change the front wheel bearings on a 2002 Nissan Xterra, first, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel. Then, detach the brake caliper and rotor, followed by removing the hub assembly by unscrewing the bolts that secure it. Once the hub is off, press out the old bearings with a bearing puller or a suitable tool, and replace them with new ones. Finally, reassemble the hub, rotor, and caliper, and ensure everything is securely fastened before lowering the vehicle.
To replace the wheel bearings on a 2002 Chevy Tracker, first, lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Then, remove the brake caliper and rotor to access the wheel hub. Use a hub puller to detach the hub assembly, and then remove the old bearings from the hub. Install the new bearings, reassemble the hub, rotor, and caliper, and ensure everything is securely fastened before lowering the vehicle.
They are a sealed bearing and are not "packable".
