1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear end of the bulb. Push on the nudges on 2 sides of the connector and pull. Hint, the nudges are not on the outer round connector, rather they are below it.
2. Once you get that off, you can remove the retaining ring by gently pulling on it.
3. Then unlatch the metal spring holding the bulb in place.
4. You may now remove the old bulb and insert the new bulb. Careful so your fingers do not touch the glass part of the bulb.
5. Latch the metal spring and install the bulb retaining ring.
6. Push the electrical connector into the bulb until it snaps and stops.
