How do you replace headlight 2007 Nissan Maxima?

First you want to safely jackup your car's front end and place some jack stands underneath for safety , I just replaced the passenger side headlamp (9012 high/Low halogen bulb) , I paid about $80.00 for the bulb , outrageous price , I feel robbed

next I removed the tire , then the plastic undercovering , then I loosen the coolant jug and lay it over out of the way

also disconnect the negative battery terminal

just underneath the plastic underliner or covering you will see the place to change out the bulb , a white dome like cover , this cover need to be turn counterclockwise maybe a quarter turn more-or-less

I also removed a little bracket , that the coolant jug sit on , so that my hand could turn the white dome-like cover , you may have to turn it a little bit from the top , but mainly turn the white cover counterclockwise from the plastic liner area

looking at the white dome-like cover , there is plastic to your right and metal to your left , I grabbed a pair of plier and bent the metal obstruction outward a little bit to actually take the white dome-like cover out of the way , once the white cover has been moved , now you can turn the halogen bulb counterclockwise to remove it
