you need to take it to dealer or to hifi buys,circuit city etc... that remove radios all the time, you will need a special tool and if you do not do it right these new radios go into a theft failsafe and when you plug it back in and turn on they will work for about 5-15 minutes then shut off asking for security code or password to let you continue to use it. security codes come with your NEW cars owner manual. Sooo,if you do like most throw away the manual there goes your code. then you have to let the dealer have the radio's serial # and he has to get it from the mfg.
