1. Open the hood
2. Peer into the darkness at the front of the engine compartment on the drivers side. You'll notice a fairly large black box with a large black tube (the air intake) between it and the throttle body.
3. At your option, remove that tube (takes more time but makes the rest of the job simpler) or just loosen the clamp nearest the box.
4. The big black box has two, 10 mm bolts on one end (nearest the fender). Unscrew those bolts.
5. Unplug the Mass Airflow Sensor (connector on top of the tube at the box end)
6. Lift the box lid from the side the bolts were loosened and flip it over so it's resting on the engine if you didn't remove the intake tube. Just set it aside if you did.
7. Remove the original filter and check inside the box for heavy collections of dirt, critter nests or anything that might contaminate your brand new filter. Wipe them out.
8. Put new filter where you removed the old one and reverse the process to re-assemble the airbox.
By the way, if it's time to replace the engine air filter, it's also time to replace the cabin filter. You'll find that behind the glove box door. Just remove the door, pull out the tray containing the filter, remove the old one, put in a new one and re-assemble the door.
Cheers
STP's part number is S3614. This oil filter fits a 2006 Toyota Solara (6 cyl) and other similar years of Toyota.
To change the fuel filter on a 2006 Toyota Solara with a 3.3L engine, first, ensure the car is off and the fuel system is depressurized. Locate the fuel filter, which is typically found along the fuel line under the car. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using the appropriate tools, being cautious of any residual fuel. Replace the old filter with a new one, reconnect the fuel lines securely, and start the engine to check for leaks.
See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers

In a 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser, the cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment. To access it, you need to remove the glove compartment by unhinging it from its mounts. Once the glove compartment is out of the way, you can find the cabin air filter cover, which can be removed to replace the filter.
The fuel filter in a 2006 Toyota Camry is in the fuel tank. There is an access plate under the back seat to get to the tank.
Check page 327 of your owner's manual. It's 5 quarts for the six-cylinder, 4 quarts for the 4-cylinder. That includes filter change. Cheers
Look in the owners manual. Probably about 5 quarts with filter change. Put four in and check dip stick after running the engine.Ask a dealer or a parts house.
Begin by removing the speaker covers in your 2006 Toyota. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speaker.
In a 2006 Toyota Sequoia, the fuel filter is located inside the fuel tank as part of the fuel pump assembly. Unlike some older vehicles, this model does not have a separate, externally accessible fuel filter. If you need to replace it, you'll typically need to remove the fuel tank to access the fuel pump and filter assembly.
