It is highly recommended that you remove the front bumper to remove the headlight assembly. It is not mandatory, but will greatly reduce the risk of marring the bumper as you remove the headlamp.

Headlamp Removal
  1. Remove all electrical harnesses from the bulbs.
  2. Remove the bolt at the top of the black plastic tab holding the headlamp to the chassis.
  3. The remainder of the headlamps is held in by a metal guide pin underneath. Just pull the headlamp directly out towards the front. It will snap out easily.
Bumper Removal
  1. 2 Phillips head screws on each side to remove the side marker lights.
  2. 3 bolts along the top of the bumper.
  3. 3 plastic trapezoid pieces in the mouth of the car on the bottom. Remove with flathead screwdriver, they just pop out.
  4. License plate bracket - 2 nuts inside the mouth on the "roof"
  5. 2 Phillips head screws holding plastic, rectangular pieces also inside the mouth on the "roof"
  6. Phillips head screws along the inner fender liner.
  7. 3 bolts underneath the bumper
  8. As you remove the bumper there are 2 plastic ball joint connectors at the corners of the bumper, just pull and pop them out.
