ABS, check engine.
I'm trying to find the answer for that on a 1997 Toyota Camry.
I don't know but it also happens on my 2000 Camry.
you need a new car
Replace the bulb that is burnt out.
To replace a light bulb in the map light on a 1996 Toyota Camry, the lens for the light has to be removed. There are clips at two opposite ends that have to be nudged gently with a flat screwdriver to get the lens cover off.
only toyota could be this stupid and incompetent...
Take out the side indicator light assembly (which is most difficult part) and then replace the bulb.
This forum has some answers about the 98 Camry which may be similar. http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic155975.htm
You need to refill the container with windshield fluid. If you do so, the light will go off.
I saw this same indicator and contacted my local Toyota Service Dept. He stated that the orange car indicator with dash marks coming off the rear meant a Tail or Brake light(s) were out and needed a new bulb(s). Hope that helps!
