The general procedure to replace the window motor in a outback (in my case 2000 Outback) is the following: (Job Level: Moderate) 1) Remove the door panel from inside. Post back if you need instructions. 2) Completely slide down the glass (to avoid breakage) 3) Locate the window glass motor and remove the bolts. If they are rebitted - just use a drill bit to remove it. 4) Replace with new motor - if you dont have a rebitting maching - no issue - I usually use the right size blot/nut and manage my way with tools to fix it in place tight.
