I just reset mine.... Hold down the trip reset button on your odometer, and while holding it down press the start button to turn on power. (Do not press brake pedal, so engine doesn't start.) The multi-information display will show "resetting maintenance interval".
After repairing the cause of the code, you can clear it with a scan tool.

Not sure if this helps or not but on a 2005 Toyota Sienna LE, the dash-light dimmer switch is actually the trip odometer reset switch. Turning the trip odometer reset switch left or right controls the dash-light levels. Had it not been for the factory manual, and Google, I would have never known this.
