A Nissan dealership can reset it for you if this does not work. Try this... turn the ignition on engine off and immediately push the drivers door jamb switch. This will take it out of diagnostic mode and the light will go out.
There is a problem with the SRS in your vehicle. This is not a DIY repair. Take it to a professional ASAP.

You can reset an airbag light that is blinking by connecting an ODBII code reader. The warning can then be removed which will cause the light to go out until another error is detected.

It normally means get the air bag checked as there is somthing worng with it,they are to be checked 10 years after date of manufactor anyway so you are due

You can't "clear" it unless you fix the problem that is causing the light to be on in the first place. That's the way all airbag systems work.
It's most likely a broken clock spring. Does your horn work? If it doesn't, it's most definitely the clock spring. It's behind the airbag. From what I've been told, the airbag won't deploy, even in an accident.
that light if blinking indicates a problem in your transmission. take it to a shop before it quits altogether
