Found the problem to be a bad battery. Get a new battery (tested under a load at the car store) and reset the SRS light at the dealership or if you are mechanically inclined search the web on how to reset the light. This worked for me and the light has stayed off.

In order to get your SRS Service Airbag light reset, You have to go to the Volvo dealership.
This is a warranty item. Take it back to the dealer as their is a problem with the SRS.
