There is a button beneath the dashboard to the right of the steering wheel roughly in line with the gas pedal. If you reach under and feel around you can hit it while sitting in the seat, although until you know what you're feeling for it may be easier to stick your head under there and look for it. You'll have to hold the button down for a few seconds while the car is on for the light to go out.
To reset the maintenance required light on a 1999 Acura Integra, turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Press the gas pedal three times within five seconds. The maintenance light should turn off, indicating that the reset was successful. If it doesn't reset, repeat the process to ensure it's done correctly.
if you feel underneath the dashboard to the right of the steering column; you will find a button. push and hold it until the light goes off. It is hard to feel, it is probably best to just get down there and look for it. In my 1999 integra it is a little square blue button.
Has your timing belt been changed? From what I understand, the car automatically turns on the light every 60,000 miles (the recommended interval between timing belt changes). I changed mine well after the light came on (it came on while the previous owner still had it) and the belt was long overdue. Also, when you do change it, you have to manually reset the light.
Time for an oil change
There is a small square button underneath the dash just to the right of the steering collumn. With the key in the ignition, in the off position, press the button for 7-10 seconds, then turn the key to ACC. This should reset the maintenance required light. It is a gimmick to get you to take your vehicle to the dealership so they make money off of you for resetting it.
The brake light fuse on a 1995 Acura Integra is located inside the cabin of the vehicle. It is on the same circuit as the dash and hazard lights.
Depending on the mileage on the car, there are some maintenance requirements to be done by you, or the car dealer. The maintenance light will stay "on" until these maintenace issues are completed. Your owner's manual also tells you how to reset the maintenance light, and outlines the maintenance required per the mileage on the car.
i am pretty sure there are no daytime running lamps on a 90' integra...
The brake lights are located in the trunk of a 1997 Acura Integra. To replace them open the trunk and find the plastic housing. Remove and replace the bulbs.
