Remove the kick panel (the plastic cover in front of the door below the glove box on the passenger side of the there is a metal box held in place by two screw with a few wires connected to it. Remove the screws and you should be able to remove the box (don't disconnect the wires), there should be a rubber button sticking up on it, press the button and the light will go off.
