Same problem with driver's side rear door on my '97 - stuck for over a year. I just finished fixing it. Obviously, start by taking all the screws out and take the interior door latch all the way out. Grab the door panel by the bottom tray (close to the bottom of the door as possible) and yank the ____ out of it straight out towards the interior. There are four plastic clips at the bottom of the door securing the panel to the metal frame that you have to disengage by brute force. They're spread out across the bottom. The panel should flex enough to disengage from the fit against the other interior panels surrounding it. Once it's free at the bottom, you should be able to worm the panel out in an upward direction from there. Good luck - have faith when pulling the panel off - remember it's already broken.
On the far left side of the dash, next to the windshield, drivers side, inside the car. You can only see it from outside the vehicle.
No, It cannot control outside air temperature.
Look under the hood, along the firewall on the drivers side of the car Almost positive that it is located inside the fuel tank and cannot be replaced.
Yes, it does but this cannot be seen from the outside of the engine. The oil filter is inside a cover on the right front of the crankcase. This cover is held in place by three bolts and has to be removed in order to change the filter inside.

It means that you need to get your key. On most of the civics in your year there is a transponder chip inside the key. Also, you probably cannot lock the drivers side door with the power lock button. It is designed as to not allow you to lock your keys in the car. Another friendly reminder from Honda to save you time and effort.
