Fasten your seatbelt.
You are supposed to wear your seat belt in order to stop the seat belt alarm from chiming on a Hyundai Sonata. This is an important safety mechanism that should not be tampered with.
To turn on the seat belt chime in a 2012 Hyundai Elantra, first, ensure the vehicle is in the "On" position without starting the engine. Buckle and unbuckle the driver's seat belt three times within 30 seconds. Then, turn the ignition off and back on. This should enable the seat belt chime when the seat belt is unbuckled while driving.
you have to completely remove the seat belt case and replace the seat belt, you can go to a junk yard, and get one from a compatible car.
It is integral in the BCM; can't be disabled.
To untwist a seat belt in a 2001 Hyundai Elantra, first, pull the seat belt out to its full length and inspect where the twist occurs. Gently rotate the twisted section in the opposite direction of the twist to straighten it out. Once untwisted, retract the seat belt slowly to ensure it rolls back in smoothly without additional twists. If the problem persists, consider checking for any obstructions or damage in the retractor mechanism.
To disable the seat belt alarm on a Chevy Colorado, locate the alarm fuse. Pull out the fuse to disable the alarm.
I find that fastening the seat belt disables the alarm immediately
Wear the seat Belt !
under rear seat .
Yes. Put the seat belt on.
annoying is'nt ?? you figure they get a better chime . how about you close the door........ And never mind the fact that if you release the seat belt while at a drive through window somewhere you have to listen to the alarm. If the engine is running and you stop and release the seat belt the alarm starts beeping! I really would like to disconnect this alarm. I wear my seat belt all the time and I am annoyed with this alarm. Our New 2011 Sonata Hybrid only beeps when you first get in, after that you can do what you want like an adult.
Put your seat belt on
