I have a 2002 Hyundai accent and my headlight are out but all other light are on, also light is glovebox is out. Is there a fuse for this?
the engine light stays on. Hyundai dealer wants 241 plus to install and fix. Does using car with engine light on do damage?
I just did this. It was easy as pie. Remove the three screws that hold the entire headlight unit in. Two screws are on the top and one is on the side. Then, detach the entire unit from the car via two cords (one rectangular and one triangular) that send power to the headlight. Then, unscrew the plastic circular thing in the back. Remove the power cord to the light itself. Then pop off the little wire -- be careful, it is tightly sprung. Replace bulb! Put back together!
It depends on the headlight. If it's a solid light then there should be screws in front of the headlight that hold it in. If it's a holigen bulb then you have to open the hood and go behind the headlight, find the wires to the light which are attached to a plug, turn the plug to the left slightly and pull. the light should just pull out and push the new one in it place.
You need to remove the headlight first. After removing the headlight, you will be able to unplug the power and remove the bulb from the housing. The new bulb comes ready to plug in.
In the 2005 Chrysler 300, the headlight sensor, also known as the ambient light sensor, is typically located on the dashboard near the windshield, often near the rearview mirror. It may be integrated into the overhead console or the trim near the driver's side. This sensor detects ambient light levels to automatically adjust the vehicle's headlights. If you're having trouble finding it, consulting the vehicle's service manual can provide detailed guidance.
On a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, the fog light switch is typically located on the left side of the steering column, integrated into the headlight control stalk. To activate the fog lights, you usually need to turn the headlight switch to the "on" position and then pull the stalk towards you or push it away, depending on the specific configuration. If the fog lights are not functioning, make sure to check the fuse and bulbs as well.
It means a sensor has tripped a code in the computer. Call around for a mechanic that will check it for you. Could be anything.
You can check the Hyundai site... www.hmaservice.com... Sign up and there is a wealth of information on it. I just replaced my cam shaft position sensor on my 1999 Hyundai Sonata 4 cyl 2.4. It was a bolt and a clip. 2 minutes and done.. SONATA(EF) > 1999 > Engine > Engine ControlComponent Location Index > Camshaft Position Sensor (V6) > Camshaft Position Sensor (V6) >
Yes, the Acura TL is equipped with a headlight sensor in certain models and trims. This feature automatically activates the headlights when ambient light conditions dim, enhancing safety and convenience for drivers. However, it’s advisable to check the specific model year and trim, as features may vary.
That light indicates that the headlight switch is in the on position with the engine not running and the drivers side door open.
