May just need the power sounder resetting.While the engine is idling,slack the battery earth cable (for speedy next step)switch off the ignition and within 15 seconds remove the earth terminal.After a couple of minutes,reconnect and see if all ok.You will also have to re-enter the radio code. If this doesn't help,alarm may be faulty,auto-elec job.
