If you're checking the rear struts there's nothing under the seat; there are 3 bolts under the headrests but everything else is under the car. And FYI- it's a nightmare getting the struts off the rear of this car. I had to take mine to a mechanic cause it basically involves unbolting the entire rear end to get the struts off the vehicle.
towards the bottom of the motor follow the bottom radiator hose to the engine block and you should see four bolts for the thermostat housing

Drive the car up onto ramps or jack the car up to change the alternator you need have access from the bottom of the engine. Access to the alternator is very tight. First disconnect the battery. Accessing from the top loosen the drive belt and remove the adjusting bolt, ground wire, battery wire and plug in connector from alternator, do this before removing the bottom bolt from alternator. it should be located in the exhaust , just past where it comes from the engine When you pull the engine up, look for where your manifold is. Go down to the bottom of it and it's right there, across from the radiator.
