It is an oil change reminder light. YOU make the call as to how long you want to continue driving with dirty oil.
Now, this does not answer the question at all since the question was how long can you go w/ the wrench light. anyone else?
Problem with the 4 wheel drive
When you see the OD off indicator on the dashboard, you drive the car with higher rpm. It gives you extra performance but shortens the lifetime of the engine.
It means there are problems in the engine and in trans or drive shaft. Take it for a analysis at your agency.
thats a service reminder. you need to get you car serviced. if you continure to drive approx 500 kms this indicator will automaticaly go away
The light that comes on when 4 wheel drive is engaged is not the service light. It is just an indicator light that comes on to let you know the 4 wheel drive is engaged. It will go off when the 4 wheel drive is disengaged.
My pickup is 4x4. Gear shift on the colum, with indacator in the lowwer left of the dashboard. P R N Over Drive Drive 2 1 . Hope this helps you
I guess that it would depend on where the wrench is. But it would be a bad idea.
If an engine transmission light comes on in the dashboard there can be a potential problem with the drive-train. The engine's computer should receive a diagnostic to determine if there is anything wrong with the transmission.
To engage the four-wheel drive in a 2006 Lexus GX470, first ensure the vehicle is at a complete stop. Then, locate the four-wheel drive control knob or switch, typically found on the dashboard or center console. Turn the knob to the "4H" (four-wheel drive high) position for normal driving conditions, or shift to "4L" (four-wheel drive low) for off-road or slippery conditions. Finally, confirm that the indicator light on the dashboard shows that the four-wheel drive is engaged.
the dashboard is on your internal memory of the console
A socket wrench can drive sockets that totally encompass a nut or bolt head, thus getting a much better grip of it than a wrench.
The wrenching end fits the bolt and the drive end is the handle.
