well since it is a lead acid type battery and weather and driving and road conditions all play a factor 3-5 years is average for MOST any car battery.

weather: high heat like desert temps run a battery dead fast from a/c use.. cold overtime like extreme northern climate makes plates brittle.

road conditions/driving habits: vibration is the biggest killer of car batteries its like a boxing match inside the cells. they shake and move sooner or later something WILL break and kill it..
