put up on car jacks or on host use 14mm wrench (sockets are a tight fit)then some patients after u get the motor unmounted then tackle the ground and power wires, wiggle the starter out and that`s that`s...
To connect wires to a starter solenoid combination, first ensure the vehicle is off and the battery is disconnected for safety. Attach the battery positive cable to the terminal labeled "B" or "Battery." Next, connect the starter motor wire to the terminal marked "S" or "Starter." Finally, if applicable, connect any additional wires, such as ignition or relay wires, according to your vehicle's wiring diagram, and then reconnect the battery.
Did you just put a starter on it ??? Sounds like the starter wires are on the starter wrong are thay are shorted out. CHECK THE WIRES GOING TO THE STARTER CLOSELY.
Yes, you can bypass the starter relay on a Nissan pickup by directly connecting the terminals of the relay to allow current to flow to the starter. This can be done using jumper wires, but it's important to ensure that the ignition is in the "on" position and that the vehicle is in park or neutral. However, bypassing the relay is generally a temporary solution for troubleshooting and may indicate an underlying electrical issue that should be addressed. Always exercise caution when working with vehicle electrical systems to avoid damage or injury.
undo the wires then take the bolts out then put the new one in.
The Starter on a 1995 Mustang THe starter is located at the bottom of the engine near just off the flywheel. Disconnect the battery, then the wires going to the starter, unbolt the old starter, bolt in the new starter, attach the wires, connect the battery and you're done.
This is a safety issue but if you do it just connect the wires together.
First remove the negative battery cable from battery. Then get under truck and remove the wires from the starter solenoid, making sure to mark them to which terminal each goes to. Then remove the two bolts holding the starter and then lift out the starter and solenoid. That is how hard it is.
