In a 2005 Subaru Outback, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. Car batteries are pretty well standardized. About the only difference is the location of the terminals - top or side. Other than that, get whatever battery you like (or can afford).

To remove the blower motor from a 2005 Subaru Outback, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Then, remove the passenger side lower dash panel and the glove box to access the blower motor housing. Disconnect the wiring harness from the blower motor, remove the retaining screws, and carefully take the blower motor out of the housing. Finally, replace it with the new unit, reversing the steps to reassemble.
Take the old one off, and install the new one. Dick.
