It depends whether you have 4 cylunder or 6. If a 4, you have two O2 sensors. One in front by the manifold one on the back by the catalytic converter. the 6 cylinder has one more in front. You need to go to a shop and have them plug in a diagnostic reader to see which one is bad before you go and fix them. Usually diagnostic is around 40 dollars, the sensors anre around 100 each. usually one hout r labor.
How do you change oxygen sensor in 1992 Toyota corolla? Is there a model engine 4A-FE without a oxygen sensor?
It screwed in to the exhaust manifold. To change it you unplug the sensor and unscrew it with an O2 sensor socket.
The 1985 Toyota Corolla has one.
under the hood
== == 1996 Corolla's have two oxygen sensors. The first sensor, is pre catalytic converter. It is located on the exhaust manifold. The second sensor is post catalytic converter.

The MAP sensor is located on the engine compartment on 1988 Toyota Corolla. The MAP sensor can be purchased at any auto parts store.
the 1999 Toyota corolla does not use a maf but it uses a MAP sensor located somewhere around the intke manifold
To change the oxygen sensors on a 2001 Toyota Corolla S, first, ensure the vehicle is off and cool. Locate the oxygen sensors; there are typically two, one before the catalytic converter (upstream) and one after (downstream). Disconnect the electrical connectors and use a wrench or oxygen sensor socket to unscrew the old sensors. Install the new sensors by reversing the process, ensuring they are securely tightened and properly connected.
To remove the upper oxygen sensor from a 2004 Toyota Corolla, first ensure the vehicle is turned off and the engine is cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical issues. Locate the upper oxygen sensor on the exhaust manifold, then unplug the electrical connector. Use an oxygen sensor socket or a wrench to carefully unscrew and remove the sensor from its mounting location.
The O2 sensor on a Toyota Corolla is located on the exhaust manifold. The O2 sensor properly reads the air fuel ratio to tell the engine how much fuel to use.
