In order to replace a condenser you must first find it under the hood. You can recognize it by finding a large aluminum cylinder with 2 lines that thread into it. After locating the condenser you must evacuate the AC system to release any pressure which may be inside of it. After doing so you can use a wrench to loosen the lines on each of the pipes that run to it. Be careful when doing so because many condensers have reverse threads, meaning instead of righty tighty -- lefty loosey, it would be backwards. So if you find it difficult to break loose one of the lines try spinning the nut in the other direction. after you have removed the lines running to the condenser there may be a bracket which holds it in place that you must remove. Typically these brackets are held in place by one or two 12mm bolts that are easily accessible. To install simply reverse the process.
