In the trunk there are small (about 10 x 4 inch) popout panels on either side of the trunk in back of the lights. Just remove these, and you will have complete access to the taillights/backup lights/turn signals. The bulb holders just unscrew about a quarter turn, and voila - pop the old bulb out, pop new one in. Recommend that you replace in pairs as I have always found that when you have one burn out, its corresponding light on the other side probably will not be far behind.
