Just did it myself.. A few tips:

You do not need to break the lower ball joint (from the control arm to bottom of the knuckle.) The knuckle can pivot down and you can guide the cv joint up and out.

Don't forget to put a pan under the trans axle where the cv axle goes in as tranny fluid will drain out. You can either make up the difference in fluid with new fluid or pour what came out back in if you have a CLEAN drain pan.
