HERE ARE THE FIRST THINGS I CONSIDER.A MISS IS TYPICALLY A DISTRABUTION ELECTIACAL PROBLEM... BAD SPARK PLUG, BAD SPARK PLUG WIRE,OR FAILING DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND OR ROTOR.AND NEXT IS THE TIMING,IT COULD ALSO BE THE WIRE IS NOT COMPLETELY CONECTED TO THE PLUG.OR DIRTY CONNECTIONS .IF YOU PUT THE HAMMER DOWN AND IT GOES ALL FLOGGY ITS THE TIMING.NEW PLUGS AND WIRES IS THE FIRST STEP AND WILL LIKELY FIX THE PROBLEM.....HOPE THIS HELPS...BUDDY MACK..

Also if it feels like one cylinder is not working, then it is possible that your fuel injector(s) is(are) bad. If your car is in good shape take it to the highway and drive it at 80 + KM or for an hour trip somewhere. It worked for me.
