It could do. DOn't let it run lean. It's very uneconomical and bad for the engine.
Thermostat messed up, Oil needs to be changed, no antifreeze in the radiator, radiator fan is not working properly
Engine will overheat and engine will probably sieze
The engine will overheat.
install a fuel pressure regulator and set it to 36 psi idle in a stock motor
Civic Racing eXperiment = CRX
Your CRX may be overheating due to low coolant, or possibly a worn out water pump. I would suggest checking the fluid levels and replacing the water pump because when mine let go on my 92 Civic DX i had to get a overhaul because it fried my piston rings :/ good luck
88-91 Crx parts will not fit on a 86 crx. The 86 Crx has wider lights.
If your Honda CRX is running too lean, you can address the issue by checking and adjusting the fuel pressure. Start by inspecting the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel injectors for any clogs or malfunctions. If those components are functioning properly, you may need to adjust the fuel pressure regulator to ensure it provides adequate pressure. Additionally, consider checking for vacuum leaks and ensuring that the engine management system is functioning correctly, as these factors can also contribute to a lean condition.
84 CRX ??? help me here CRX went 88 to 91/92 then came Del Sol CRX???
If by CRX you mean an 84-91 CRX then no. They have a cable clutch, however the del sol aka CRX del sol does.
