The REC button is to recycle the air in your car. The Brake lamp indicator light is warning you that either your brake lights are burnt out or are about to burn out. Mine went on prior to a signal light burning out.

Why is the Brake Lamp on a 94 Honda Accord continuously on when all light brakes are working fine?

More than likely, your brake switch is fused, or stuck down.... here. when you push on the brake, the pedal taps a button to indicate that the brakes have been pressed. this button is a gate to the power provided to the tail lights, therefore, when it is pressed, they light up. this button could be stuck. disconnect the harness and see if the lights go off. if they do, replace the switch.

How can i shift my Honda accord shift out of park?

To shift your Honda Accord out of park, ensure that your foot is firmly on the brake pedal. If the brake light is functioning, you can press the shift release button, usually located on the gear shifter, while moving the shifter to the desired gear. If the vehicle won’t shift, check for a malfunctioning brake light switch or a dead battery, as these can prevent the shifter from moving out of park. If issues persist, consult your vehicle's manual or a professional mechanic for assistance.
