A typical 6 cylinder engine will idle at around 900 rpm, but they vary. My Isuzu has a 4 cylinder and idles at 750 normally ( more with the AC on). Before I knew what the idle speed was I sped it up a little to around 950 because it seemed to be smoother and the computer threw a code for idle out of range so I read my book and found the proper setting.
The recommended RPMs for a Nissan Xterra at 70 mph typically range from around 2,000 to 2,500 RPM, depending on the model year and engine type. This range helps balance fuel efficiency and engine performance. For the most accurate information, it's best to consult the owner's manual specific to your Xterra model.
The engine coolant level is low. Add more and the pump will be able to move coolant at the lower rpms.
Yes, at idle it brings the normal stock of 900 up to 1000 rpms
No less then 6 PSI. At 1000 RPMs. 18 PSI. are more at 2000 RPMs. 24 PSI. are more at 4000 RPMs. And that is factory specs.
You need 10psi for every 1000 rpms That’s perfectly fine oil pressure
If you have an engine that idles at 6000 rpms, you need to have it checked - immediately. Around 750 rpms would be normal.
Depends what the Hennessey does to it. It has upwards of 1000 HP @ 5000 RPMS and 1100 foot lbs of torque @ 3500 RPMS
800 rpm normal temperature
It depends on what type of car and what gear you are in
mass air flow sensor
because it was designed that way... most engines idle below 1000.
Oil pressure ( minimum amount ) is 6 LBS. at 1000 RPMs. 18 LBS. at 2000 RPMs. 24 LBS. at 4000 RPMs. more pressure is fine too.
