yeah, you can. I have a 97 cavalier that I converted to a rear wheel drive. people keep saying that it costs soooo much money..I did the whole conversion for about $1000. I dropped a '95 b13 rotary engine in there. really nice. so yeah, go for it.
Test Drive - 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse was released on: USA: 30 July 2005
no it is not
the 2002 Mitsubishi eclipse gs is a front-wheel drive car. The last version of the all wheel drive eclipse ended 2nd gen.
It could be done, but you'll also need to change the drivetrain substantially, as the Eclipse is a front wheel drive car with a transverse engine... you'd either need to do a lot of reworking to make that drivetrain work with the Jeep drivetrain, or else you'd have to use a longitudinal layout.
yes, there were 4 models of the eclipse, 2 of them were turbo. the gsx was the only AWD eclipse made that year
about 20-25 depends on how you drive if its auto or manual.
No, out of my experience driving the Mitsubishi eclipse is one of the better imported car's for handling and performance. It sticks close to the ground and with good tires hugs curves like you wouldn't imagine.

With proper care, a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse should be a viable vehicle for at least 150,000 miles or more. Modern engines and drive trains are especially and comparatively long lasting.
I don't know about the orange one but I know the purple one was a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder.
It was a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with a number of performance and cosmetic modifications.
