Its possible but theres no point, you can get 400-1000hp just by running a single t88, it would make more sense to buy a single t88 turbo and get your engine block machined, and swapped with forged internals so you can run higher boost, plus you can always add spray, and if you upgrade the fuel system your looking at high horsepower numbers, its less practical to run two t88 turbos, besides for the money your going to be paying to run that application you can get a better single turbo then running two t88's hopefully this helped
Turbo = 1 turbo, Twin Turbo = 2 turbos
Parallel.
no. buy a twin turbo gto
It is a Toyota Supra with twin turbos. A starters car.
It means it has 2 turbos.
You are only slightly right, in the states there was the 7MGTE (single turbo) from 86.5-92..... then the 2jz came about in the mk4 which had the TT option later on. but to answer the ? about the twin turbo supra in 1992 they made a TT model in japan the engine code is 1JZGTE it is a 2.5ltre twin turbo 87-92 which in my opinion is and awesome motor , they also had the 7mgte in earlier models of the mk3 the 1992 supra came with a single turbo and not a twin turbo. the twin turbo came to-be a year later in the 1993 MKIV generation supra.
It's generally agreed that twin turbos spool quicker (less turbo lag) with more low end power. Single turbos usually have better performance in the upper half of the RPM range i.e. drag racing, but twin turbos are also usually smoother i.e. city driving. Twin turbos also generally larger and take up more space than a single turbo. Designed and implemented properly, they have comparable power.
yes and yes, there are many forums and articles on google with this info, along with a good write up on suprastore.com
The terms are one and the same - a vehicle with twin turbos is a vehicle with two turbochargers, and a vehicle with two turbos is referred to as being a twin turbo.
a non-turbo engine will not hold up to the turbos you will have to put in hardened internals
If It Is A Supra Twin Turbo That would win But if it is a regular supra the 300gt would win
167mph
