Bank 1 is not before or after it refers to the bank that includes cylinder number one.
On GM, bank one is drivers side of engine, bank 2 is passengers side. Sensor(s) 1 is the upstream sensor, meaning BEFORE catalytic converter. Sensor(s) 2 are located downstream, or AFTER the catalytic converter, therefore, bank 2, sensor 2 is located in the exhaust pipe leading from the passenger side of engine and after the catalytic converter.
Bank # 1 is the passenger side of the engine Sensor # 1 is before the catalytic converter ( upstream ) Sensor # 2 is after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
BANK # 1 is the passenger side of the engine / BANK #1 SENSOR # 1 is in the exhaust before the catalytic converter / BANK # 1 SENSOR # 2 is after the catalytic converter ( downstream ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BANK # 2 is the drivers side of the engine / BANK # 2 SENSOR # 1 is in the exhaust before the catalytic converter / BANK # 2 SENSOR # 2 is after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
Bank 1 Sensor 2 is located on the Right Hand Bank - After the catalytic converter. Meaning its on the bank closest to the firewall and after the catalytic converter. Call any Mitsubishi dealer and they will tell you where its @.
That is the sensor after the catalytic converter.
There are 2 catalytic converters on a V8 2002 Toyota Tundra. Bank 1 is the manifold and cat on the drivers side and bank 2 is the manifold and cat on the passenger side. Sensor 1 is the sensor on the exhaust manifold before the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is the sensor located after the cat converter. Bank 2 Sensor 2 is the sensor located after the catalytic coverter on the passenger side.
That would be the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter. This sensor monitors the efficiency of the catalytic converter.
Sensor 1 is screwed into the front of the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is screwed into the pipe after the catalytic converter.
Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine Sensor 2 is downstream of the catalytic converter ( after the exhaust gas has passed through the catalytic converter )
Bank 2 is the drivers side of your Mustang 4.6 liter Sensor 1 is between the engine and the catalytic converter ( upstream ) Sensor 2 is in the exhaust after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
bank 2 sensor 1 is before catalytic converter
That should be the sensor located after the catalytic converter.
