Is there a manual release or how else do you open a gas door on a Honda Accord that is frozen or not working?

Well mine on my '91 Accord EX sticks a lot. There should be a release on the inside of the trunk. If not, all I do is have a screw driver handy and "pop" it open like that. I a bit! Hondagrl
