There are several things to check for. Check the battery terminals. And there should be a wire from the positive terminal (+) directly to the alternator. There can be a fusible link. A fusible link is kind a fuse embebeded into the wire, in some point the wire gets thick. If you have no electricity in the car check the main big fuses, and fusible links.
