In short if the truck is running hot,suggest flushing system and replace thermostat and radiator cap.Also replacing the upper and lower hoses if over four years old a good idea.If the truck has the original radiator is may be just clogged beyond flushing and needs to be replaced.Also does your fan clutch work properly.The heater core also can be a issue if clogged and does the water pump leak at all(dripping down on skid plate to ground).Just doing a good check and replacing worn items on trucks that are pushing 20yrs or more major items like the ones above are a must to do.With out more specifics this should help guide you on what to start with.I have replaced all the items listed in 2010 and mine were not up to par,clogged,poor heat,poor cooling.
