Remover sub woofer from 2000 Toyota Avalon?

pop the dust cover off of the sub and use a socket to remove the bolts that hold it to the rear deck lid or whatever it's called. It takes a lot of messing around to get the sub up and out. You have to turn it, tip it and slightly pry it but that's the hardest part. FYI, if your subwoofer is cracking and popping you can order a replacement foam from speakerworks.com. that's what i did and it works great now.. good luck
